Description:
The Trent Computing Labs are general-purpose computing facilities located across all campuses. The Information Technology Department manages these labs and have loaded devices with Windows software suites and the current list of approved software (“Trent image”).
These labs are for student use only. Trent's current computing policies govern the use of these facilities and should be reviewed before using the Computing Commons labs. If you have any questions, please contact it@trentu.ca
Users must have their Trent username and password to login to the computers in the labs.

Due to Covid 19 physical distancing requirements or restrictions IT has posted “out of Service” signs in some Computing Commons labs.

Printing:
Network printers are available in certain labs for student use. IT provisions printing supplies (toner and paper) for the printers.
Please report any issues with PCs or printers to it@trentu.ca, phone ext. 1010, or visit the Service Desk located on the 2nd floor in Bata Library. See IT's Contact webpage for operating hours for the IT Service Desk.
Credit for printing can be purchased online in myTrent > MyAccount > TrentU Campus Card.
Lab Hours:
Labs are open during a specific building's posted business hours for the day. Staff will ask students to leave 15 minutes prior to building close.
