Enabling the BCC field in Outlook's Web App (OWA)

In Outlook 2013. the ‘BCC’ field (or blind carbon copy) is disabled in Outlook by default. 

BCC can easily be enabled in Outlook's web app (OWA).

Navigate to your Outlook email either through MyTrent or www.trentu.ca/owa

From your Outlook email, select the ‘+ New mail’ button in the upper left corner.

In the Compose screen, select more options  (3 horizontal dots) at the top right of the window  with a single click which will produce a dropdown menu

In the dropdown menu, click ‘Show Bcc’.

You should then see the ‘Bcc:’ field when composing new email.

Once BCC has been enabled in the Outlook client, you should not have to click to re-enable the BCC field again.
