A Virtual Private Network (VPN) is designed to provide a secure, encrypted tunnel between your laptop or other device and the Trent network.
Access to the VPN can be requested by supervisors for staff in the self-service portal.
The information transmitted between the two locations via the encrypted tunnel cannot be read by anyone else because the system contains several elements to secure both the Trent's private network and the outside network through which the remote user connects through.
A Trent login and a software client are required to access this service. If you are using a mobile device or a Macbook, you will need to download the app from the App Store or the Google Play Store, depending on your device.
