On Campus IT Service Available
Dear Faculty and Staff,
We are pleased to announce that, as of Monday July 20th, the IT department will be re-opening our on campus Service Desk operations for a limited number of services that cannot be offered remotely. Our new temporary location for providing these services will be in the Bata Library building, 2nd floor, at the previous Bata Bean Coffee shop location.
Our services will be available by appointment only, and are currently limited to:
- TUFA computer equipment exchange
- Computer drop-off for re-imaging
- Computer pickup from re-imaging
No walk-up service will be provided at this time and no services other than those listed above will be offered on campus at this time. Additional services and expanded hours may be added as we transition additional operations back to campus.
You will be required to login with your Trent credentials, if you haven’t already done so, to book an appointment.
When arriving at the Bata library, you must enter through the main sliding doors (ground level) by the bus stop. Access to our service location is available via the elevator or stairs to the 2nd floor. Please follow the signage and wait for our technicians to communicate necessary next steps. Upon entering and exiting please use the sanitization station, masks are also available at these stations.
Please note that our technicians are not able to provide physical setup assistance at this time.
We look forward to seeing some of you back on campus.
Associate Vice President, IT
