Microsoft Services Restored But May Be Unstable
Staff, Faculty and Students are advised that Microsoft services have been restored following a widespread outage at Microsoft this evening between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Microsoft services may continue to be unstable and some Microsoft-related IT services at Trent may be affected on and off, such as Office 365 mail.
This evening’s outage was a Microsoft outage, but IT was able to restore myTrent, Blackboard, Zoom. and Yuja directly at:
If the outage re-occurs, faculty are able to send messages to students directly through the Blackboard announcements feature. Student gmail accounts were not affected.
Due to possible instability in the Microsoft services, please check myTrent and the Trent University home page should you experience issues. Thank you for your patience and IT will update you as soon as possible.
