Trent University Computer Repurpose Program
We are pleased to announce the Trent University Computer Repurpose Program. The objective of the Computer Repurpose Program is to provide faculty, who are not members of the TUFA Computer Renewal Program, with access to used computer equipment. All equipment available under this program is approximately four years old and has been assessed to be in good working condition. The program will repurpose Windows and Apple Computers that are in both desktop and laptop formats.
To qualify for the program at this time, applicants must:
- Be a faculty member teaching this fall and not covered under the TUFA Computer Renewal Program,
- Demonstrate a substantial technology need, as assessed by the university, AND
- Have an unmet technology need that would hinder their ability to facilitate Trent’s learning activities.
Should you qualify for the program, we invite you to apply by completing the application found at:
While we would like to respond in the positive to all program applications, we have a limited inventory of used computers to give away and will only be able to award computers to faculty demonstrating the highest unmet technology need and facilitating a large number of learning activities.
Applications are open now and will close on September 14th at 11:59 pm. Late applications to the program will not be considered. Successful applicants will be notified the week of September 21st.
