Welcome Message from the Director

Ske:kon. Boozhoo. Aaniin. Welcome.

Welcome to the Chanie Wenjack School for Indigenous Studies

The School is a community dedicated to improving the quality of life for Indigenous peoples in Canada. We bring a diverse set of people to study and learn about the past, analyze the present and prepare for the future. Our school is comprised of four parts: Indigenous undergraduate and graduate programs, the First Peoples House of Learning, the Boodweh Centre for Indigenous Knowledges and Languages and the Enwayaang Professional Learning Centre.

We hope that you will come to study and learn with us.

David Newhouse
