Trent University Nursing students in NURS 4104H - Socio Political Action are taking on an initiative of raising awareness about elder abuse. Their individual group projects all focus on this issue within Ontario.   • by 2031 StatsCan estimates that 35% of our population will consistent of this age bracket.
 
Elder abuse is any action to an elderly individual that results in harm or distress. Some of the forms of elder abuse include: Physical Abuse, Sexual Abuse, Emotional or Psychological Abuse, Neglect Financial or Material Exploitation.
