Students can choose to excel with a specialization in Economics. Understand both the strong and subtle forces that shape our global markets and financial systems. With this specialization, you bring theories and techniques to life, and explore how they work in business. Hone your skills as a creative and innovative business change maker, and explore a range of topics in micro and macroeconomics, and international finance.

Specialization in Economics

A specialization in Economics is the perfect academic pursuit for B.B.A. students wanting to develop a deeper understanding of the problems that face the business world, along with the theories and techniques that are being used to solve these issues. Hone your skills as a creative and innovative business thought leader and explore a range of topics in micro and macroeconomics, and international finance.

Graduating students who have fulfilled the requirements for a Bachelor of Business Administration degree may apply for a Specialization in Economics, if they have successfully completed 5.5 credits from a core set of courses with a minimum grade of 65% in each course.  Course topics include Micro and Macro Economics, Statistics, Mathematics for Management, Financial Economics, International Finance, Investments, Risk Management & Insurance, Public Economics, Economics of Industrial Relations, and International Trade.
