As Canadian society experiences a significant demographic shift, and new perspectives on aging become more important than ever before, earn an M.A., M.Sc. or Ph.D. along with a specialization in Aging Studies.

With more than 15 faculty members undertaking research on aging studies including the Canada Research Chair in Rural Aging, Health and Social Care, and the ground-breaking Trent Centre for Aging & Society, you will be at the forefront of this bourgeoning field of scholarship. Contribute to meaningful dialogue on aging and take part in collaborative excellence as you explore and challenge the myths about aging, old age and older populations.

Program options:
- Earn a specialization in Aging Studies as part of your M.A., M.Sc. or Ph.D. by:
- Choosing from a major research project or a thesis in the field of aging studies
- Completing a half-credit core course on the foundations in interdisciplinary aging studies.

Admission Requirements
Ontario Secondary School Requirements:
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
- A minimum of six Grade 12 4U or 4M courses, including program specific prerequisites
