Media Studies

In Trent’s Media Studies program, you’ll learn to navigate this environment by marrying theory and practice. You’ll study the influence of advertising and ideology, the political economy of media corporations, and the principles of multimedia design, for instance, but you’ll also gain hands-on experience by fabricating 3D printed objects, circuit bending, shooting on Super 8mm and 16mm film, creating fake social media profiles, and more.
