This online guide will provide you with step-by-step instructions and important deadlines, helping you to be prepared and ready as a new student.
BY JUNE 1, 2022, YOU WILL NEED:

Apply for a study permit* : visit CIC for information on application procedures

(By June 15) Submit $500 CDN tuition deposit to secure your place at Trent University

(By Jun 1) Submit $500 CDN Advanced tuition deposit for Bachelor of Education Program ONLY
- Apply for on-campus residence (Peterborough | Durham) and submit $500 CDN residence deposit. Residence applications are processed on a first-come, first-serve basis, thus, apply as soon as possible
* when applying for a study permit, Canadian immigration authorities in some countries may not only require proof of deposit payment but also a payment of tuition and residence fees in full. If you require a receipt on your payment, login to your MyTrent to print a copy of your Trent student account showing the receipt of payment.
BY AUGUST 1, 2022, YOU WILL NEED:

Make your flight arrangements to arrive at Pearson International Airport, Toronto. Undergraduate students who do not require ESL testing should plan to arrive on Saturday September 3, 2022. Undergraduate student who do require ESL testing should plan to arrive on Wednesday September 2. Trent International will send a link to register for the Airport Shuttle on either of these days to your Trent email address in early June.

Order your Trent Card to get access to on-campus services, from printing and photocopying at the library to working out at the Trent Athletic Centre.
- Register for academic courses
- Arrange for off-campus or homestay accommodation if not residing on–campus
- For Durham campus, please arrange off-campus accommodation if not residing on-campus
- Please check your Trent email for information about New Student Orientation. We will send you a registration link and full schedule in early June.
BY AUGUST 26, 2022, YOU WILL NEED:
