History (Co-op)
Studying History develops and refines your capacity for critical thinking in a complex, competitive, and changing world. One of the most established and versatile university majors, History paves the way for understanding the foundations and origins of society’s behaviour and institutions. At Trent, the versatility of skills gained through your History degree can be applied to the real world through the dynamic co-op stream, where you will explore a variety of political, social, and cultural themes in the classroom and out in the workforce in a variety of sectors. Curator
Conservators restore and conserve artifacts belonging to museums, galleries and owners of cultural property. Curators recommend the acquisition of museum artifacts and gallery works of art and research their artistic history. Conservators and curators are employed in museums, art galleries and universities. Conservators may be self-employed.

Admission Requirements
Ontario Secondary School Requirements:
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
- A minimum of six Grade 12 4U or 4M courses, including program specific prerequisites
Program Requirements:
- A minimum 70% overall final average
- ENG 4U with a minimum of 60%
Co-op Requirements:
- A minimum 80% overall final average
- ENG 4U with a minimum of 60%
