Project 1

Examining the contribution of chemical and physical trace evidence to the Ontario criminal justice system 
(
Supervisor: Dr. Sanela Martic)

  • Evaluate trends in demand for forensic chemical trace evidence examinations
  • Data mining from the CFS Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and CanLii database
  • Determine possible causal relationships by investigating contributions of trace evidence findings to criminal court cases in the Ontario justice system
