The Trent Durham Student Association (TDSA) and Trent University Durham work together to create an orientation program that meets all your needs. Join us as we set you on the path to a successful educational journey.

Transfer/Mature Student Course Registration is an event for all incoming transfer/mature students on Friday, June 23rd, 2017 at Trent University Durham.

It is important that your transfer credit evaluation be complete before attending. If you are unsure of your eligibility for transfer credits, please view updates on the myTrent portal, check your personal email, or contact admissions@trentu.ca

Summer Academic Kickstart for Incoming Highschool Graduates
Saturday, June 24th, 2017

Trent University Durham will be hosting a Summer Academic Kickstart for all new students coming directly from high school on Saturday, June 24th, 2017. Students are expected to attend this course registration event and parents/guardians are also welcome to attend an Information Session.

The main focus of the Summer Academic Kickstart is to finalize course registration for the upcoming academic year. Other topics that will be covered include academic preparation, involvement opportunities, campus services, student life, parent information and money matters

Use the links below and try out the Visual Schedule Builder (VSB) to generate a schedule before the Summer Academic Kickstart. Print the schedule off and bring it with you on the event day, where Trent staff and students can help you to register in these courses.

Fall Tuition & Fees Payment 
Due: Friday, September 1, 2017
Payment due for Fall term tuition and fees. If you receiving OSAP you will need to complete the promissory note online on your MyTrent portal to have your Fall tuition due on Friday, September 29, 2017. This can be found under the academics tab on your myTrent portal.

Fall Start-Up Orientation
Tuesday, September 5th & Wednesday, September 6th, 2017

The purpose of the first day of the Fall Start-up is to become familiar with the campus, your peers, staff and faculty, and life at TrentU Durham.  It will be an engaging day filled with fun experiences as you transition into your first days of university life!

The purpose of the second day of the Fall Start-up is to prepare you for the dynamics of university academics and also familiarize you with the various supports and services on campus to help you in your journey.  A series of workshops which will introduce strategies to develop your skills will be held throughout the day.
