Let's Get You Ready to Start this Fall!

Summer Orientation allows students coming from high school, mature, and transfer students to have the launch that they need to be ready for September. Learn about registering for courses and other important topics before beginning in the fall. 

Summer Academic Kickstart

July 3rd & 4th, 2019

Summer Orientation is open to all new students and provides opportunities for students and their parents/supporters to learn more about the campus, services, and resources available during their time at Trent University Durham GTA. The main focus of the Summer Orientation is to assist students with course registration for the upcoming year with the help of academic advisors. Some other topics that will be covered include academics, involvement opportunities, campus services, student life, parent information, and money matters.  

July 3rd (Evening Session - 5:30pm to 8pm)
July 4th (Daytime Sessions - 9:30am to 12pm and 1:00pm to 3:30pm)

All new students are expected to attend one sessions of the orientation. Parents and guardians are also welcome to attend a Parent/Guardian Information Session during this orientation.

Transfer Student Summer Orientation will be available in 2 sessions for all students transferring to our campus. We will have staff on site to help students in understanding their Transfer Credits information pages and assist with course registration.
