Student Support Hubs
New student-to-student network offers referrals and resources in person and online
As part of Trent’s commitment to supporting students both in person and remotely during this different year, we have introduced new Student Support Hubs - providing students with designated places to ask questions, seek direction, share concerns or find connections.
These “no-appointment-necessary” hubs direct students to myriad of services and supports and help to answer some of the most common questions students may have this fall.
What can you find at a Hub?
- Immediate frontline in-person support for those students on campus
- Answers to questions around a variety of topics such as:
- Navigating your way around campus
- Learning more about resources
- Finding additional support
- Referrals and access to Trent’s wraparound services available to all students this year, including:
- Accessibility Services
- Health Services
- Academic Advising
- Academic Skills
- Financial Aid
- Student Accounts
- First Peoples House of Learning
- Student rights/conduct
- Student Associations
Where can I find a Student Support Hub?
Set up in key locations at both the Peterborough and Durham campuses, Student Support Hubs are staffed with specially-trained student employees ready to help you, especially at a stressful time that presents new challenges (and opportunities) for us all.
