Transgender Day of Remembrance

Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) is an annual event held on November 20 and marked at Trent University by the sharing of stories and calls to action. It serves as a poignant tribute to the memory of transgender individuals who lost their lives due to acts of anti-transgender violence. This day not only commemorates those we have lost but also provides an opportunity for everyone to show their support for the transgender community. 

This Transgender Day of Remembrance, let us unite in remembrance and support and actively contribute to raising awareness about the violence affecting the transgender community. Together, we can make a difference.
