Soap Making Basics Workshop

Saturday October 28th, 2017 OR Saturday November 25th, 1:00 - 4:00 pm. Please choose one workshop, as both will have the same class content.

Location: Scott House Room 105, Traill College, 300 London Street, Peterborough.

Cost: $50.00 per workshop (+HST). Price includes supplies.

This workshop is designed to learn the basics of soap making, the terminology, types of soaps you can make, tools you will need, sample recipes and includes making a batch of soap to take home with you. Makes for great gifts!

About the Instructors:

Antje Reid worked as an Interior Designer in Toronto. After having her first child in 2009, she moved to a small farm property in Havelock to live a more sustainable lifestyle.  In collaboration with Kate Logan, our farm activities include growing fruits and vegetables, chicken and goat rearing, pottery and soap making.

Kate Logan moved to the Havelock area to fulfil a lifelong dream of living in the country to raise animals, grow food and enjoy the benefits of country living. This is where she met neighbor, Antje and became fast friends as well as joining forces to embrace country living.
