Format
Trent University’s Continuing Education program offers a diverse range of not-for-credit courses and workshops for adult learners which accommodate a 9-5 work schedule. Our courses and workshops are presently taking place exclusively online via Zoom.
Our seminar-style courses encourage interactive learning and discussion, running either 6 or 8 weeks in duration. These courses are specially designed to be individual classes with an overarching theme or narrative which brings them together into a course. These 2-hour classes are offered weekly on weeknights from 7pm to 9pm.
Our weekend workshops take half-day, 1-day or 2-day formats and offer interactive opportunities to learn a new skill or develop existing ones. These workshops occur on various weekends throughout the term.
The program offers 3 terms each year which are 8 to 10 weeks in duration.
- Fall – Mid-October to early December
- Winter – Mid-March to early May
- Summer – Mid-June to early August
Registrations opens 2 weeks prior to the start date for the course. Register online via Corsizio by clicking on the linked course and workshop titles.
