Website Accessibility Tip of the Week: Text Alternatives for All Images
All images and non-text content must have descriptive alternate text (alt text) so that it can be changed into other forms people need, such as large print, braille, speech, symbols or simpler language.
Please take this time to review all images on your website and in your website documents to ensure that they have descriptive alt text.
Visit the Marketing & Communications website WCAG 2.0 Guide 1.1 for details on how to add alt text to your images, best practices, specifications and more.
