Champlain Poster Policy

Champlain does not require each poster to be stamped prior to being put up, because of this we ask everyone to follow a few guidelines when postering. These guidelines ensure that everyone has space to advertise fairly.

Where to poster:

Champlain has space on the first, second and third floor for posters, with two poster boards in the great hall, two outside the Ceilie, four in the hallway by the bookstore, one on each staircase landing, as well as three on the second floor, one outside the staircase entrance, and two in the hallway outside the CC office.  Posters for Peterborough city organizations can only be placed on the designated board, closest to the book store.

Requirements for posting:

Size:

Posters should be 8.5 inches by 12 inches or smaller.

Location:

Posters can be put up on multiple boards throughout Champlain, however we ask that only one poster per area with no posters on adjacent boards.
All posters should be on poster boards, please do not put them up on walls, stairwells, doors, or tables.

Removal:

Poster should be removed after date marked on poster.

Content:

Poster should not include any explicit or R rated content. Dates and organization must be reported.
