The corporate communications coordinator for the Peterborough Police Service is finding new ways to learn and lead at Trent. As a new member of the policing profession, Sandra Dueck enrolled in Trent’s online Senior Police Leadership micro-credential certificate, which allows her to simultaneously learn and apply valuable knowledge and skills while working full-time in the sector.  

“I like learning about good leadership, and how to be a leader. I think it shows that anybody within an organization can be a leader — you don’t have to be at the top of the structure,” says Sandra. “Since our organization is an institutional one, that’s really important to foster the leadership right through the organization.”
