Art Making with Meaning
Join a group of students for the winter 2018 semester on a journey of self-discovery through art. This program blends arts with coaching for the purpose of self-care in a fun, nonjudgmental environment. This opportunity is open to all Trent students and there is no previous art experience required.
Students who register for Art Making with Meaning participate in six sessions that are two hours in length. Sessions are held on Mondays from 3:00 – 5:00 in the Gathering Space in Gzowski College (GC 103). Each week will have a different focus and art modality.

|Monday, February 12||Exploring Purpose||Sculpture|
|Monday, February 26||Resources internal and external||Weaving|

Sessions will be facilitated by Trent alumni Grace Mahoney. Grace is the business owner of Living in Colour and specializes in works that reflect the person for whom she is creating. Art is the means she has found to tap into and express her values. When not in her studio, she offers life coaching using the arts, teaches workshops in wire sculpture and expressive arts. Art Making with Meaning is sponsored by Peter Gzowski and Lady Eaton College and the Trent Wellness Centre.
