JUNIOR JUDO - RECREATION (Ages 7 - 12) 28 classes
Judo is a fun sport for all ages. It is currently practiced in 200 countries worldwide. Through this program you will develop respect, control, calmness, willpower, perseverance and confidence. You will develop fitness, flexibility, balance, endurance and self-defense. The ultimate goal of Judo is educational; learning to make the best use of your energy through body/mind training.

JUNIOR JUDO - COMPETITIVE (Ages 10 - 14) 47 classes
Building on the principles learned in Junior Judo, this program will provide training for youth to perform at a more competitive level of Judo.

JR NBA BASKETBALL CANADA (Ages 6 - 12) 10 classes
Jr. NBA Youth Basketball Canada is a progressive development program that falls within the FUNdamental/Learn to Train stages of the Canadian Sport for Life. The focus is on fun, and developing the confidence and competence in enjoying physical activities. Skill development will occur through a variety of safe, challenging games and quality instruction. The Jr. NBA program will focus on the fundamental movement skills of running, jumping, throwing, catching, balance, agility, and co-ordination. The program will also work to begin the development of some of the fundamental basketball skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding, and defending.

SPECIAL OLYMPICS FUNDAMENTALS (Ages 6 - 9) 10 classes
FUNdamentals focuses on developing basic sport skills while creating a level of enjoyment for physical activity in young athletes. Through these ideals we hope that this will encourage athletes to live a healthy active life through sport. FUNdamentals uses activity sessions that look at specific sport skills such as, kicking, throwing and catching which can be transferred into a number of various sports and can be used in everyday tasks.

JR EXCALIBUR FIT BOX (Ages 8 - 14) 10 classes
The Box Fit Program is a youth fitness program dedicated to using boxing training techniques, stressing the technical and fitness aspects of boxing as a means of achieving a healthy and active lifestyle. The program is a non-contact routine and intended for youth ages 8-14. The program incorporates controlled, directed movement to maximize fitness and prevent injury. The program can be used as cross training for multiple sports to improve speed, agility, balance, and coordination. Benefits of the program include; increased fitness, increased discipline and focus, build confidence and self-esteem, and encourage and help youth in the community to lead positive lives.

TEEN FITNESS ORIENTATIONS (Ages 12 - 15)
A personal trainer will provide a complete orientation of the Sport Centre. They will guide you through the use of machines and cardio equipment as well as provide you with a few exercises to suit your body and goals. Youth aged 12 - 15 who are interested in working out in the Sport Centre are required to register for and complete a teen fitness orientation upon purchase of a youth or family membership. Successful completion of this session will allow youth to workout in the fitness area without adult supervision.
