If prerequisites aren't submitted and/or fulfilled and you complete the course, you will not receive credit for your course. You are responsible for making sure you meet prerequisite requirements and for emailing in all required documents.

If you are a new BEd graduate, you may register if you:

  • completed your program at an Ontario university before the AQ course starts
  • have applied to become an OCT member and have an applicant number

If you completed your BEd outside of Ontario, you have to wait until you are an OCT member.

TRANSCRIPTS MUST BE EMAILED TO AQ@TRENTU.CA

Note about TRANSCRIPTS: If required, they must be emailed in. Copies are accepted. If you don't have a copy to email, please order one and then email it in. If you completed your undergraduate at Trent, you don't need to send in your transcripts, but you DO need to email us so we can review your transcripts.

  • For Part 2 & Specialist Courses - Email in Signed Teaching Experience form - if you know you have the required days, register now and email the signed form in as soon as you get it signed
  • FSL Part 1 - email in test results or bilingual certificate or transcript

  • Intermediate Math ABQ - email in test results or transcript

  • Intermediate History & Intermediate English - email in transcript

  Register and pay for your course by selecting an option below

If you are a Trent grad or a returning AQ student, the system will match you with your old student number so that you will receive your discounted course fee. If you have ever applied to Trent in your lifetime, complete the information section for previous Trent applicants when you register as a guest. You will receive 2 emails after registering, including a receipt email and a confirmation email which can take sometimes up to 45 minutes to receive. If you don't receive this email, please wait 24 hours and then contact AQ@trentu.ca.
