How much work can I expect in an AQ or ABQ course?

Every AQ and ABQ course requires approximately 125 hours of work.
*(For comparison, please note that a university semester course is 36 hours of classes in total for the whole semester.)

  • 1 course in the spring = 17.8 hours of work/week
  • 2 courses in the spring = 35.7 hours of work/week
  • 1 course in the summer = 31.3 hours of work/week
  • 2 courses in the summer = 62.5 hours of work/week

All Courses are accredited by OCT

Most courses are asynchronous

  • FSL Part 1 & Specialist include 1 synchronous session (sign up after course starts)
  • PQP courses include 2 synchronous sessions that are 1 hour each in length and announced by instructors after courses start

AQ, ABQ and PQP courses have a zero credit weighting listed on the transcript
