The objective of Mitacs is to connect companies, government and academia by coordinating collaborative industry-university research projects that help students and postdoctoral fellows learn how to apply their specialized expertise in the private sector. This is done through both their suite of paid internship opportunities and their comprehensive training program that provides business-ready skills to up and coming researchers.
