Annual Trent Community Research Centre Celebration of Research
March 25th 9am to 12noon
Trent Student Centre- Atrium
Students from across Trent University will present the findings of their research through poster presentations throughout the morning.
This Celebration highlights the active collaboration between Trent University and the Trent Community Research Centre. The projects on display demonstrate the value of community-based research both for our community partners and for Trent students. These unique experiential learning projects allow students to demonstrate and refine the skills they have developed during their studies, and give back to the City of Peterborough and surrounding communities.
In collaborating with the TCRC, Trent University has established a 20-year history of Trent students working on the research needs of Peterborough and surrounding community, while learning critical workplace-ready skills. The TCRC works with our community partners to create achievable research projects and then supports our students in undertaking this work. These projects help our students prepare for their careers and become engaged citizens.
