The goal of Walkhome’s annual safety audit and survey is to identify suggested improvements that will reduce opportunities for crime and ensure that public spaces at Trent University are safe for everyone.
A safety audit of the physical environment at Symons and Traill campuses is completed annually. Students, staff and faculty are invited to join Walkhome staff and volunteers for walkabout tours of each campus.
A safety survey is distributed annually to students, staff and faculty to identify safety concerns and suggest improvements. The survey will be available in January 2012.
