Trent's innovative facilities advance the frontiers of learning.

• Supporting the University's leadership role in environmental studies, Trent's Water Quality Centre, in the award-winning Chemical Sciences Building houses the nation's most advanced water quality testing equipment.

• Trent is home to the Natural Resources DNA Profiling and Forensic Centre in conjunction with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources, which is advancing the area of DNA research, enabling world experts to look at the fields of genetics and biotechnology with new understanding.

• Peter Gzowski College/Enweying includes the First Peoples House of Learning with Gathering Space, Ceremonial Space and the Nozhem First Peoples Performance Space – a tribute to Indigenous Peoples worldwide.

• The Bata Library provides a wide range of electronic library resources to support study and research including Ontario’s Scholar Portal, the world’s largest locally-loaded source of full-text scholarly resources providing access to almost 6,000 online journals.
