Current interests: Theories of the body and subjectivity; the incription of gender and race; French feminism.
Publications include several essays in theories of race and ethnicity and French feminism. Books in progress include 'Grey Matters: The Paradox of Body in William Faulkner's Fiction'; 'Writing the Subject/The Subject of Writing'; and 'Nineteenth-Century American Women Poets: A Selected Anthology', editor (printed and electronic texts of out of-print works to be circulated through Princeton, Rutgers, Brown, Virginia).
