Lighting Retrofits

During 2008/2009 funding from a generous, anonymous donor allowed the Sustainability Office to complete extensive lighting retrofits across the Symons campus.  Lighting was updated in Lady Eaton College, Champlain College, Otonabee College, Environmental Science Complex, Science Complex and the Archaeology building.  Overall, the annual benefits of these changes are estimated to be a reduction of over 220 tonnes eCO2, 1,000,000 kWh savings and over $100,000 in operating costs.
