Green Cleaning

Trent University has a long-standing concern for, and commitment to, the environment and is looking to ensure that our cleaning products reflect this philosophy.  We are currently in the process of seeking out quality, environmentally responsible cleaning products.  A Request for Proposals was issued at the end of the summer 2009 and we expect that new products will be phased in during the 2010 Winter semester.  In the past, we have adopted some 'green' certified products as they have become available, however this process will allow us to look at the full range of products needed to keep our buildings clean and assess the newest products available.  This process will also allow cleaning staff to test these products to ensure that they work well.
