Sustainable Transportation

There are many ways to get to Trent.  Many staff and students walk, bike, bus and carpool to campus each day.

There are two main trails leading to Trent's Symons campus, the Rotary Greenway Trail connecting from the South and the Lakefield Greenway Trail connecting from the north.  Once on campus cyclists find lots of places to lock their bikes with over 300 bike spaces spread over our campus, including many in the new Bata Bike Park, established in a central parking area on campus in the summer of 2008.

Getting to Trent by bus is also convenient.  Transportation passes are available to eligible students.   For more detailed information on routes and schedules, please visit Trent Central Student Association (TCSA) website, who coordinate this service.

Carpooling is a great option for the members of the Trent community who live outside of the City of Peterborough.  Carpooling saves money on parking, maintenance costs due to wear and tear on vehicles, gas and reduces emissions.  Parking pass holders may register carpool vehicles on one pass and share it.  Please visiting the Parking Office for more details.
