Summer 2012 Course Registration Limits

Full-Time and Part-Time eligible students

may register in up to 2.0 credits overall in the summer session unless they apply for overload or successfully petition to the Committee on Undergraduate Petitions (CUP) to take additional credits.

A full load in a six-week session is 1.0 credit.  Students with a 70% average on a full 5.0 credit load in the previous fall-winter session (or who otherwise meet the criteria for overload) may apply to overload in up to 1.5 credits in one six-week session.  Ineligible students or those seeking to take additional credits must submit a petition to the Committee on Undergraduate Petitions (CUP).

Note: The maximums do not apply where a program's planned curriculum (eg Nursing) requires that students take an additional load.

NOTE: Upon registration, students are responsible for making themselves aware of the academic and financial obligations and deadlines associated with each course.
