Overview
We are a student group at Trent University interested in latin and swing dance styles. The purpose of this group is to promote dancing in these styles and to produce a community for people to meet and have fun learning and teaching dance to one another and to have a blast doing it! We are also interested in performance and will prepare students for dance performances on campus.
Membership is free for all in the Trent community.
People with all levels of experience in dance are welcome to join us, and you can come on your own or with a partner.
Classes run Tuesdays 9:00PM-11:00PM, Wednesdays 1:00PM-3:00PM at Athletics Center Multipurpose room

Nov. 20th, 2010 Tango Workshop
Alex Damnjanovic, a TLSDC alumni, is back to run this workshop.
This workshop will be a blast, so make sure you come on out.

Nov. 6th, 2010 Casino Rueda Workshop
Casino Rueda is a group version of salsa where several couples dance in a circle. This will be the first one of our workshop series. The details are: Nov. 6th Saturday, 3-5pm, the athletics center, multipurpose room. It is totally FREE and beginners are welcome!
Every Saturday 3-5pm from Nov. 6th until Dec. 4th, the Trent Latin and Swing Dance Club will be hosting special workshops taught by experienced instructors! The dances will include: Casino Rueda, Tango, Salsa, and styling and technique! Click here to check out the Facebook event page for details.

A new dance class will be offered on Wednesdays, 1pm-3pm at the multipurpose room at the athletic center.
Sept. 28th, 2010 Tango workshop
Come out and learn a new latin dance style! The workshop will be in the usual place (Multipurpose Room of the Trent Athletic Center) from 9pm-10pm.
Sept. 19th, 2010 Class schedule
Classes are on Tuesdays 9:00pm-11:00pm in the multi-purpose room on the second floor of the Athletics Center.
