S.A.S.S. Canada was founded by singer-songwriter and High School Teacher Artemis Chartier and the lead guitarist for the Guess Who from 1983 to 2000, Dale Russell. Dale has also been recognized as Canadian Producer of the Year, Canadian Songwriter of the Year and Canadian Instrumentalist of the Year.
“S.A.S.S. was founded to enable students to express their thoughts and feelings in a safe environment, to learn valuable musical and literacy skills, to develop their creativity, and to build an artistic network to benefit each member personally, and nurture the ongoing line of great, Canadian writers.”
