Trent University S.A.S.S. Club

Welcome to the Trent University School Alliance of Student Songwriters (S.A.S.S.) Club. We are a new Club formed in the fall of 2005.

S.A.S.S. Mission Statement

The Goals of S.A.S.S. are to hear students express what is important to them in a safe environment, and to offer emerging writers artistic support. S.A.S.S. provides guidance in the time-honoured art of songwriting, along with performance and networking opportunities. Ultimately, S.A.S.S. challenges students to make their world a better place through love and music.

S.A.S.S. membership is open to all students interested in all genres of music... not just songwriters.  Maybe you play an instrument and want to play more than just traditional favourites, maybe you write lyrics and poems but don’t play an instrument, or perhaps you just like listening to original music and want to support those who are sharing their feelings, thoughts and ideas. Anyone and everyone that meets these criteria are welcome to join the Trent U. S.A.S.S. Club.

The Trent S.A.S.S. Club is the first University level Club affiliated with S.A.S.S. Canada.
