The Forensic Science Society is an association of Trent University students who are interested in participating in forensic-related events, both educational and social.  We strive to introduce students to possible career opportunities through events and trips, while encouraging interaction between students with a common interest through social events such as pub nights. The main goal of the society is to provide all students with the opportunity to explore their interest in forensic science through the extension of knowledge and the better education of our members.

The FSS arranges many activities for its members and other forensic students as well (both in B.Sc. Forensics and Joint majors). Everyone is welcome! We do paintballing, pub crawls, haunted excursions to Phantom Farm, BBQ gatherings, campfires, holiday parties, and guest lectures. See the events page for exact dates and cost. Overall the FSS is a great way to meet friends and participate in group activities with your fellow forensic majors!

Students who wish to become a member pay a $10 annual fee and receive a membership card. Members attend FSS events at a reduced price as opposed to regular price which the remainder of students are required to pay. Ask your year's representative for more info. Want to be a leader in the society? Have any ideas for events? Questions? Contact our President, Jocelyn, at jocelynhay@trentu.ca.
