Here is some information to help you make informed decisions about your travel plans

• Travel Consultations are not an OHIP covered service (ie this means you must pay for the service and some vaccines).

• Some travel requirements can be looked after at Trent Student Health Services, some need to be dealt with at a Travel Clinic (see websites).

• Please call us Trent University Student Health Services at 705-748-1481 and we will advise what we can look after.

• Please book an appointment at least 6 weeks before you depart. Many immunizations are given over several weeks.

• Please bring your immunization record for your consultation. You can obtain your immunization record from your family doctor or the Public Health Unit where you went to High School (see website of PHU locations)

• Check with your health plan provider for vaccine coverage (Trent's Health Plan website included)
