TUSC
Trent Undergraduate Sociology Collective
The Trent Undergraduate Sociology Collective, TUSC, the sociology club, whatever you want to call it is your group. Just by being a sociology major you are automatically a member, but it's your call on how much you are involved. That's what separates the sociology club from the rest. You put into the club what you want, and you always get results.
So what are some reasons to get involved with TUSC?
- You want to pull your marks up? Midterm and final exam study groups. If there is one thing to learn about how to study, talking and learning together is it.
- You want to get involved? Marches, protests, information sessions, guest speakers, it is all going on right now. TUSC can tell you where and when to show up.
- You want to know what you can do with a Sociology degree? Hear first hand what you can do with your degree academically and professionally.
- You want to see really good movies that are hard to find? Tired of the same Hollywood script with a different title? Join and see great movies, and tell others about your own great selections.
- You want to start getting your post graduate career on track? Start to get to know professors, network, and get your future on the right path.
- You want to talk about life? You want to talk about sociology with others? Sociology is the world around you. It can be incredible but it can also be incredibly disheartening. Join the club and have a venue to voice your thoughts.
- You want to know what courses to choose? Talk with real human beings who have taken the courses you are considering and see if they are actually what you want.
This club exists for one purpose, to help you. The sociology club is your club. So get involved. If you want to become more involved or have some questions about TUSC contact us at socclub@trentu.ca or swing by the sociology office.
