The Sociology Department will be holding a "Majors and Honours Information Session" on January 19th from 1-3 p.m. in "The John Hillman Reading Room" (OC 220.10/11).  Light refreshments will be served.

• requirements for doing a major, joint major and minor in Sociology 
• Prof. Gillian Balfour will discuss doing a joint major or minor in Sociology and Gender & Women's Studies 
• careers for Sociology graduates
• information about 4th year honours courses
• information about doing a: reading course, community based education course and an Honours thesis

Students are also encouraged to drop by the Sociology department office (OC 220) to discuss majoring in Sociology.
