 Dr. Chris Huxley,Professor Emeritus Professor Huxley received his Ph.D. from the University of Toronto and is co-author of the book titled Just Another Car Factory? Lean Production and Its Discontents published in 1997. Prof. Huxley is a professor in both Sociology and the Comparative Development Studies Program. He is the winner of the prestigious Fulbright Fellowship, which will allow him to conduct research examining work reorganization in the auto industry and a comparative study of worker and union response in Canada and the USA. Research Interests: Comparative industrialization, labour movements, sociology of work, organizations, Latin American studies, social movements. |
