Research interests:
My research interests are in the area of human sexuality and social psychology. More specifically, three main areas
dominate my current research: (1) attitudes and beliefs about sexual consent and their influence on the negotiation
of consent in sexual interactions. This area of research includes elements of sexual (mis)communication, sexual coercion;
(2) first sexual experiences; and (3) sexuality information and the use of the Internet (i.e., health, education, and
entertainment). How do individuals assess information quality? Does personality influence information seeking behaviours?
How is the information used in sexual interactions?
