Special Advisory Committee on Changing Academic Structures

Terms of Reference:

• to review Trent’s current academic structure to see whether it serves the institution and the needs of faculty and students in the pursuit of academic goals
• to develop an engagement process whereby members of the community are invited to contribute to the discussion
• to develop a communications strategy whereby members of the community are kept informed of opportunities for engagement and of the ongoing work of the committee
• to develop one or more alternate models for consideration or propose maintaining the status quo

The Committee expects to be able to deliver a report to Senate at its December meeting and a set of recommendations to Senate at its January meeting.
