The Living On Campus Option

While the majority of our Trent University Oshawa Thornton Road Campus students commute, a growing number of students are choosing to live on campus.

Trent offers housing options at both Durham College and The University of Ontario Institute of Technology. Shared and private bedroom suites are offered -- either with kitchenettes or meal plans -- in modern, safe buildings with lots of amenities — think free Cable TV and Internet.

Living in Oshawa

Located 40 kilometres east of Toronto, Oshawa is an exciting place to
live and go to school.

With a population of over 150,000, Oshawa is a vibrant community that
offers beautiful parklands, trails and award-winning recreation
facilities.

Oshawa is realizing the rebirth of its downtown core and offers a
balance of residential, commercial and recreational opportunities. For
instance, the recently opened Regent Theatre hosts concerts and eventsand the General Motors Centre is home to the Oshawa Generals hockey club and hosts concerts.
