Tasha'a Famous Radio Chilli (served at Trent Radio socials since 1997) 3 cans Red Kidney Beans 3 cans White Kidney Beans 3 cans Garbanzo Beans (Chick Peas) 3 cans crushed Tomatoes 9-12 cloves Garlic 4-6 Green Peppers 6-9 Onions 4-6 Carrots 9 heaping tablespoons Chilli powder 3 tablespoons Cumin powder 5-6 handfuls TVP (total vegetable protein) (the kernels from 6 corn cobs and red pepper optional) Fry onions in oil with garlic, cumin and chilli Add tomatoes and beans, carrots, green pepper, and enough water to just cover everything. Bring to a boil then Simmer Check carrots to determine when done. Add TVP one half hour before serving [end]
