McCurdy SS-4700 Console first solid state model with germanium transistors circa 1960 Started life at CHUM FM when it was a classical music station, then on air at CKDS Hamilton. Much modified and fixed HPHodgson industries. Used Deyer belt drive pots. Finally consigned to the deep 1991.
