To-Do Prior to NSO:

 

• Pre-register to attend a New Student Orientation day, register online or by calling the NSO Office.

• A large component of the sessions will involve using the Academic Calendar and the Academic Timetable, it would be extremely beneficial for students to explore each of these documents prior to their orientation.

• It is highly recommended that students come prepared with an idea of what courses they are interested in registering for.

• If you require overnight accommodations before and/or after your NSO day, please call (705)748-1011 ext. 7888 or email nso@trentu.ca prior to your NSO day

   

What to bring with you to NSO:

• A list of courses that you are interested in registering for

• Your Trent student number 

• If you have received a residence assignment and would like to pay your Advanced Residence Payment ($500.00) on your NSO session, we will be happy to take your payment.  Please bring with you one of the following methods of payment:

  • Credit Card (Visa, Master Card or American Express)
  • Cheque (made payable to Trent University)

  *You also have the option to pay this online prior to your NSO date

  *It is extremely important to note that advanced payments MUST be made by their due dates. Please do not wait to pay them at NSO if they are due prior to your session.

• Comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing
